This was a great eye opener for our lack of baby proofing. Jamie brought over her baby gate to block the stairs...GOOD CALL! Lilian's not really mobile so we have yet to block that off. We also noticed all the little toys and trinkets that I have laying around that are not baby friendly...such as the chess board (small pieces) and photo albums. Blinds are fun to play with as well as punching the TV screen. No harm done it was just a wild and crazy night with 3 Big Girls! Poor Lilian just slept right through all the craziness. It was so fun! :)
It's a little wake up call that our sweet little girl will too soon be a Big Girl. Aunt Stacey brought her some 12 mo clothes that were on clearance for next year and it made Jeff rather depressed to even think that they would ever fit her. It's a reminder that we need to appreciate and cherish every step of the way. I hope to keep that in mind when my patience is tried. We'll see, right?
